Overdale

4mm Scale – 00 gauge. The club’s modular layout

Overdale is a small bustling town some distance from London and with an industrial area and a small village not far away connected by a branch line. A lot of the inhabitants use the railway to travel to work as it has a fast service to London and the rest of the country.

It is built with code 100 track so most 00 stock that has been produced can be run. It uses DCC control and nearly all of the earlier locos can be adapted easily to run on this system. The layout is modular and in the future it will be able to be exhibited in various formats.

Although Overdale is a work in progress it had it’s first public showing at at the Club’s Cox Green Exhibition in January 25.
